Teacher Highlight~ Oscar Rivera
Oscar Rivera is a skillful “Jack of all Traits” in the music world, teaching his students all music styles in piano, guitar and bass here at Rock City. He has been playing music for 20 years, and teaching for over 10 years. He has studied with some of the greatest classical guitar players like LAGQ’s Matthew Grief. He graduated with a BA of Arts in music at CSUN. Oscar specializes in classical guitar and plays for private parties, weddings, and special events. Teacher Highlight ~ Charlie Lin
Charlie Lin is not only a guitar teacher, but part of our amazing musical team here at Rock City Studios. He has been teaching guitar for almost ten years and has shared his unique talents to help his students grow. He is also a skilled composer and has created the music for short films, commercials and more. Certified in Guitar Performance, he has gained knowledge from the Los Angeles Musicians Institute and now is graduating next Spring with a Bachelors Degree in Media Composition at Cal. State Northridge. Charlie is known around here for his intricate guitar and music ability and after over 10 years of playing, has become a walking example of the saying “PERFECT Practice makes Perfect.”

Stephen Armstrong is a skilled guitarist and certified from the Los Angeles Musicians Institute in CA. He inspires our students daily with his creative musical skills. He is part of a four piece instrumental band called Mason Void and performs frequently at hot spots in Hollywood like Universal City Walk’s Howl at the Moon. Check em’ out!
